Brion McClanahan

Brion McClanahan is an American historian, author, and Liberty Classroom faculty member. His teaching and writing focus on the American Founding, the Constitution, and figures and traditions often overlooked in conventional accounts of United States history.

He earned his B.A. in history from Salisbury University and his M.A. and Ph.D. in history from the University of South Carolina, where he was Clyde N. Wilson’s last doctoral student. His books include The Politically Incorrect Guide to the Founding Fathers, The Founding Fathers’ Guide to the Constitution, Forgotten Conservatives in American History, and How Alexander Hamilton Screwed Up America.
